Cold-pressed and unrefined, Biona’s organic flax oil is an excellent source of polyunsaturated fats, alpha linolenic acid (ALA), linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid and steric acid which are essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are nutrients which cannot be made by the body and must be obtained from the diet.

Usage

Drizzle liberally over salad greens, use as a base in homemade houmous, add flavour to stews or spoon into nut butters for a more spreadable texture.
