Lamberts Acidophilus Extra 10 30 Capsules

Lamberts® Acidophilus Extra 10 contains 10 billion beneficial bacteria, of strains Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium. Lamberts® was one of the first companies to produce live bacteria capsules in the UK (over 30 years ago) and they have developed expertise in this area. To ensure proven targeted release for acid-sensitive ingredients such as live bacteria, they have:

• Specifically used delayed release capsules
• Built a special desiccant into the tube wall of the pot
• Refrigerated storage conditions until despatch
• Used vegetarian capsules made of plant-based cellulose which has a moisture content 3 time lower than typical gelatine-based ones.

Suitable for people aged 16 and over.
Suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Suitable for vegetarians. Not suitable for vegans.

Each capsule contains

• 10 x 109 (10 billion) live Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bacteria*
• Stearic Acid (Anti-caking Agent)
• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (Capsule Shell)

*at the time of manufacture

Allergen advice

The following list of allergens are excluded: Wheat, barley, soya, eggs, lactose, nuts, sulphites, celery, fish, shellfish, yeast and gluten containing ingredients.

Dosage

Take 1 capsule daily.
Take with a glass of water, ideally first thing in the morning when the pH of the stomach is at its highest (i.e. the contents are not so acidic).
Do not swallow capsules with hot drinks, as heat kills bacteria.

Cautions

Suitable for people aged 16 and over.
None at recommended dosage.

Storage

To be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from light, preferably in a refrigerator.
