Acidoll, (Betaine HCl plus Pepsin) 100 capsules

We are proud to introduce our own brand of the Acidoll, Betaine HCl plus Pepsin, produced to the Gerson formula for us in the United Kingdom for use on the Gerson Therapy.

Acidoll is an acid digestive aid which can be used when there is a deficiency of hydrochloric acid. Contrary to popular belief, the acid is not directly responsible for the digestion of nutrients in the stomach. The hydrochloric acid is there to provide suitable acidic conditions for pepsin to work efficiently. The pepsin breaks down proteins into smaller amino acids. Also called Acidol and Acidoll Pepsin.

Ingredients: (Each capsule contains)
Betaine HCl 270 mg
Pepsin (1:3000) 295 mg
Rice Bran (bulking agent), Hydroxypropyl MethylCellulose (capsule)

The Pepsin is porcine derived.
